BY Speed Advantage Training

Train with the best

SAT- Trains athletes of all ages, guiding them to their ultimate goal of becoming the best athlete they can be.  SAT coaches have been running camps for athletes in the  Valley for decades and are trusted by lehigh university to make sure all of their D1 athletes are performing at their highest level.  Speed and agility is an important part in your athletes Training to give them an advantage on the field.  it's time you take advantage of this opportunity.

Dominic graduated from DeSales university with a degree in sports and Exercise Science in May 2015. He holds a CSCS certification and seeks to obtain his USA Weightlifting certifications throughout this upcoming year.

Throughout the 2014 spring semester, he was an intern with the Lehigh University strength and conditioning program. He spent each day with Eric Markovcy, Ed Ruisz, and Owen Breininger, learning about their methods, theories, and programming. He gained a true understanding and passion for the program that has been a major factor in the development and success of the Lehigh University Athletics.

Dominic played football and competed in powerlifting during his time at Palisades High School, where he himself went through the SAT camps as an athlete. Upon attending DeSales University in spring of 2011, he played rugby and continued to compete in powerlifting meets. He became a member of the Palisades High School Football coaching staff in spring 2013. He coaches running backs, linebackers, and spends the offseason working on strength, speed, agility, and fundamentals with the athletes.

Eric Markovcy obtained both a graduate and undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University. As an athlete, he holds numerous drug-free national power lifting records as well as winning four drug free national powerlifting titles. He played linebacker at East Stroudsburg University, starting as a freshman and receiving All-Freshman honors.

He brought his knowledge and athletic ability to the Ed Ruisz's Speed Advantage Team Inc in 2000 and became full-time in 2004. He is now the president, having trained thousands of athletes - youth to professional in speed, agility, and strength training.

Eric is currently a strength, speed, and conditioning coach at Lehigh University along with Ed Ruisz and Owen Breininger.  He also played a large role in writing the Lehigh University Nutrition Handbook.

On staff since 2004, Owen Breininger has worked in all facets of SAT. Owen joined the Lehigh University strength and conditioning staff in 2008. Previously, he spent two years as a graduate assistant with the staff.

Owen received his undergraduate degree in psychology and his master's degree in counseling from Lehigh University. While attending Lehigh, he was a linebacker and defensive end. He also spent four years as a member of the Leadership Council and on the honor roll. He is currently pursuing a master's degree in sports psychology.
