Upon attending DeSales University in spring of 2011, he played rugby and continued to compete in powerlifting meets. He became a member of the Palisades High School Football coaching staff in spring 2013. He coaches running backs, linebackers, and spends the offseason working on strength, speed, agility, and fundamentals with the athletes.
Eric Markovcy obtained both a graduate and undergraduate degree in Exercise Physiology from East Stroudsburg University. As an athlete, he holds numerous drug-free national power lifting records as well as winning four drug free national powerlifting titles.
